- Looking directly at the person who is speaking shows dynamic interest.
- Ask questions to the prospect or customer to get specific information or to learn opinion and feelings.
- Don't interrupt, let other people finish their sentences or ideas.
- Don't change the subject of the conversation.
- Control your emotions, hear the other person's out first then give your own ideas in a controlled manner.
- Let your whole being show you are interested in other people and their ideas.
